Our story
SMBV Co. was built on a simple idea: the beach should be a place where anyone can learn, play, and feel part of something bigger.
I discovered that for myself in 2021, shortly after moving to Santa Monica from San Francisco with little sports background. From day one, I wasn’t just surprised by how easy it was to start—I was blown away by how the community made me feel right at home. Over time, I’ve picked up new skills (far from “advanced,” but always learning), made genuine friends, and discovered the joy of finding sand everywhere.
Now I’m excited to help carry this community into its next chapter — keeping the good vibes alive while opening the doors to more players, more connections, and more reasons to love the game. With fresh energy and an amazing team of trusted coaches, I’m thrilled to provide a space where everyone can thrive together on and off the sand.
